About Us
TECMED has adopted a broad based black economic empowerment approach whereby employees of the business participate in the ownership of 26% of TECMED Africa (Pty) Ltd. The mechanism enables staff to participate in the growth of the business and provides a representative wealth generation opportunity to the people that ultimately are the value in the business. In addition, participants in the mechanism are represented in the management of TECMED Africa through representation on the board of directors in the company.

TECMED Africa's mechanism earns full points in relation to ownership as set out in the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act – Codes of Good Practice on Black Economic Empowerment set out by the Department of Trade and Industry.
