Known for inventing the first lithotripter and extracorporeal shockwave lithoscopy (ESWL), Dornier continues to revolutionise the urology market with their distinctive lithotripters and urology tables as well as setting new standards in laser surgery for the treatment of kidney, ureteric and bladder stones.Tecmed Africa additionally offers a state-of-the-art urology table and x-ray imaging system from Hans Pausch, offering a full versatility in the urology theatre
as well as excellent imaging and post processing capabilities. The Dornier Medilas H 20 is a superior holmium YAG laser specially designed for the treatment of stones and soft tissue. The system has the capability to treat a diverse spectrum of urological applications due to its 20 watt power and 2.1 micron wavelength. Irrespective of their hardness and chemical consistency, the high-energy pulses quickly fragment urinary calculi. Life Support Systems
